Lou Gordon Lewis

Lou Gorden Lewis, 72, of Danese, passed away Saturday night, October 5, 2013, at Beckley Appalachian
Regional Healthcare of Beckley, following a long illness.  Born April 21, 1941, at Kathryn, (Hemlock)
West  Virginia,
he was the son of the late Lemuel and Golda Richardson Lewis.  In addition to his parents, he was also
preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou Lewis, second wife, Edna Fitzwater Lewis, one step-daughter,
Linda Reichard, six brothers, Leo, Fred, Jimmie, Grady, Mason, and Dennis Lewis, and three infant sons.
Lou was a retired coal miner, a member of UMWA, and of the Baptist faith.  He loved to go hunting,
and really enjoyed  being  outdoors.
Survivors include a daughter:  Nancy Bowman (David) of Florida
                                1 stepson: Charles Lewis of Florida
                                1 sister: Melinda Lewis Migner (Herschel) of Danese, WV
                                3 grandsons of Florida
                                2 great-granddaughters of Florida
                                1 sister-in-law: Doris Ann Lewis of Virginia
                                Special niece: Goldie Lewis Shrewsbury of Beckley, WV
                                Several nieces and nephews, and other extended family

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at P. A. Shuck Cemetery, in

Landisburg, with Rev. Sherman McCombs officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8PM,

Wednesday evening, October 9, 2013, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle.  Pallbearers include

His nephews, Ronnal Shrewsbury, Frederick Shrewsbury, Christopher Shrewsbury, Bradley Lewis,
