Emily Jo Gibson, 24, of Danese, passed away suddenly Friday, July 6, 2012,
at her home following a drug overdose.

She was born August 14, 1987.  She was the daughter of Nick Gibson and Darlene Martin Gibson both of Fayetteville.

Emily was an unemployed clerk for a local rafting company.

She left behind her two beautiful boys, Ezekiel Allen Willis age 3 and Sonny Pearce Coy  2 wks old; her mother, Darlene Martin Gibson of Fayetteville , her father Nicki Joe Gibson and his wife Kathleen of Fayetteville; a sister Tara Louise Harris of Fayetteville; two nephews, River Lee Harris and Colton Levi Gibson; Paternal Grandmother, Louella W. Gibson of Fayetteville; Emily has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members who loved her dearly .  She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.

Funeral services will be 7:00pm Wednesday, July 11, 2012, with Rev. Mike Tincher officiating.She will be cremated.

Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home Chapel in Ansted.

  I did not know Emily,I am so sorry for your lost. I agree with Toni Shafer, I'm sure it was hard for you to tell this, if only more people would admit it, so many young people are on drugs and believe me I hate that word.  God bless you and the children.

  Darlene I am so sorry about your daughter.  She looked her like Mom.  I have no idea what you are going through at this time, but you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I miss you.

  I am saddend to hear of your loss.  So many young people today are experiencing substance abuse and leaving us.  I did not know Emily, but so sad to hear of her tradegy,and leaving behind children,especially a two week old.  I will leave something at request address for her children.  Prayers for your loss.

  Prayers for your family and your loss. Praise for your honesty. So many families are experiencing the same but don't have the courage or maybe honesty to be candid about the cause of death. I have lost several people I love to the same cause. Awareness is the only hope to make a difference. God bless you all.
