James “Jim” Lewis Dunbrack, 80, of Lewisburg went home to our savior Tuesday afternoon, July 10, 2012 at the home of his daughter, Lori in Kernersville, NC.
Born October 14, 1931 in Pocahontas County, he was a son of the late Forest and Nellie Bly Foe Dunbrack.
Jim served in the U.S. Army and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many years of dedicated service in the Lewisburg office. Jim was a member of Edgewood Presbyterian Church for over 40 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary Jane Reynolds Dunbrack
Jim is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Richard Tincher; grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, and Megan whom he dearly loved, all of Kernersville, NC; a sister, Evelyn Pontes of Phoenix, Arizona and brother Everett Dunbrack of Ronceverte. He also has several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews throughout the Dunbrack and Reynolds’s families.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Edgewood Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Joseph Geiger officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
