Patricia Joyce Trent

Joyce loved traveling with her daughters as they witnessed and ministered. She loved and was loved by her grandchildren. She loved being with her family and making memories.
Mrs. Trent was born February 27, 1943 in Ronceverte and was the daughter of the late Seibert Ivan and Rose Ella Morgan Weikle. Joyce attended the New Covenant Sanctuary Church in Fairlea and was a line supervisor with Appalachian Electronics. She was for many years the lead singer with the Bethel Heirs.
She was preceded in death by other than her parents; her husband, Carlos G. Trent; a daughter, April Long; sister, Rose LaFon and brother-in-law, Raymond Dunbar.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters: Tammy Reed and her husband Daniel of Ronceverte and Michelle “Shelly” Glass and her husband Jim of Organ Cave. Grandchildren: Alyssa Reed, Colton Glass, Sierrah Glass, Savannah Glass, Destiny Winebrimmer, Kynlea Gray Glass, Kyre Sadie Glass, Carson Trent Glass and Korrynn Ferguson, and Sisters; Doris Dunbar of Ronceverte, Rhonda (Eddie) Trent of Second Creek, Sharon (Tom) McCoy of Organ Cave, Brothers; Sterling (Linda) Weikle of Union, Danny (Diane) Weikle of Lewisburg, Bill (Marsha) Weikle of Organ Cave Steve (Tammy) Weikle of Lewisburg and Greg (Darlene) Weikle of Organ Cave and Bother-in-Law, Jack LaFon of Organ Cave.
Funeral services will be held Sunday August 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Rhema Christian Center in Fairlea with Pastor Susan Erskine and Joyce’s daughter Michelle Glass officiating. Internment will follow at the Bethel Church Cemetery at Organ Cave.
The family will receive their family and friends on Saturday August 11, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Rhema Christian Center.
